Besonderheit bei den Karten von FISA ist, dass sie von FISA produziert aber nicht lokal herausgegeben sind. Neben den eigenen Vertriebsstätten/Verlagen in Spanien (CEDOSA) und Großbritannien (FISA GB) werden die meisten Karten in vielen Ländern durch andere Verlage veröffentlicht und lokal vertrieben. /Special about FISA's cards is that they are produced by FISA but not locally issued. Beside own Distributors/Publishers in Spain (CEDOSA) and Great Britain (FISA GB) most cards in several countries were sold locally though other publishers or distributors.

   Die erste Version des "Escudo de Oro" gab es bereits Anfang der 1960er Jahre. Typ 1a hat keinen Ortsnamen am oberen Rand des Wappens, Typ 1b hat dort einen Ortsnamen. / The first version of the "Escudo de Oro" already existed at the beginning of the 1960s. Type 1a has no place name at the top of the coat of arms, type 1b has a place name there.

Comercial Escudo de Oro Die erste Karte ist von Barcelona von 1986. Das Jahr 1986 kann anhand der Design-Registrierung festgestellt werden: Dep.Legal XXIX = 1986, da das 1. Jahr 1958 ist und XXIX das 29. Jahr. Vertrieben wurde sie von "CEDOSA" (Comercial Escude de Oro, S.A.) in Barcelona. / The first card is from Barcelona from 1986. The year 1986 can be idintified by the design registation: Dep.Legal XXIX = 1986, as 1958 was the first year, so XXIX = 29th year. It was distributed by "CEDOSA" (Comercial Escude de Oro, S.A.) in Barcelona.

In England wurden die ersten Karten von FISA GB vertrieben. Diese erste Serie von 1986 hat den Text unten. Das Wappen entspricht jedoch schon allen weiten von Typ 1. / In England the first cards were sold from FISA GB. This first series from 1986 has the text on the bottom. "Golden Shield" / "Escudo de Oro" / "Ecusson d'Or" Dieses Design wurde ein Jahr später für viele Städte und Regionen hergestellt mit Schwerpunkt in Spanien und England. Sie wurden für viele lokale Distributoren hergestellt. Zwei Versionen wurden zeitgleich hergestellt: Typ 1a ohne und Typ 1b mit Namen der Stadt/Region. / This design was issued a year later for many cities and regions - focus/majority in Spain and England. They were produced for many lokal distributors. Two versions were issued the same time: type 1a without and type 1b with the name of the city/region. Alles sind von FISA I.G. in Barcelona gedruckt, teilweise nur mit "Printed in the E.E.C." gekennzeichnet. Je nach Herausgeber ist die Rückseite unterschiedlich gestaltet. / All are prited from FISA I.G. in Barcelona, while a few only have mentioned "Printed in the E.E.C.". Depending on the issue, the backside is designed very differently. Für viele Orte, z.B. London wurde die Karte mehrfach wieder aufgelegt, was man an unterschiedlichen Drucken aber auch an anderen Farben der Rückseiten erkennen kann: / For many places, e.g. London, the card was reissued several times, which can be seen in different prints but also in different colors of the backs:

Neben schwarzen "by Night" Postkarten wurde für das Vereinigte Königreich und Spanien einfarbige Karten auch mit anderen Farben veröffentlicht,
jedoch sind mir mit Golden Shield keine weißen "in Winter" o.ä. bekannt:

but I don't know that there are any white cards "in Winter" or similiar from Golden Shield: z.B./e.g. "Foggy", "Rainy Day", "The Sea", "Summer", "Sunshine", "A Sunny Day", "The Sunny Isle"

"Commercial Escuit D'Or" Ca. 1989 wurde das Layout des Goldenen Wappens geändert. Zuerst in Barcelona. Nur dort gibt es das Wappen vom Typ 2, das stark an Typ 1a erinnert. Die Rückseite wurde kurz darauf auch geändert. (Erste Karten haben noch das Rückseitenlayout von den früheren Karten.) Der Vertrieb "CEDOSA" wurde nun auf Katalanisch angegeben als "Commercial Escuit D'Or, S.A.". / The layout of the Golden Shield was changed around 1989. First in Barcelona. Only there is the type 2 coat of arms, which is strongly reminiscent of type 1a. The back was also changed shortly afterwards. (The first cards still have the back layout from the earlier cards.) The distribution "CEDOSA" was now indicated in Catalan as "Commercial Escuit D'Or, S.A.". |

"Escudo de Ouro" Für den Distributor F.Ribeiro auf Madeira wurde nicht nur eine Karte mit goldenem Text (s.o. #3) von Fisa hergestellt, sondern auch diese Karte, die das Layout "Strahlender Mond" vom Konkurenten John Hinde kopierte. / For the distributor F.Ribeiro on Madeira FISA produced not only a card with golden text (see #3), but also this card, which copied the layout "shiny moon" from competitor John Hinde. |

im Hochkant-Format (z.B. Bognor Regis, Chichester, Eastbourne, Ilfracombe, The Peak District)
oder Querformat (z.B. North Devon, Torbay),
die wegen anderer Bedeutung als "bei Nacht" nicht akzeptiert sind.

"Golden Shield" / "Escudo de Oro" / "Ecusson d'Or" Nach Barcelona (siehe oben) wurde nun auch für alle anderen Orte das Wappen umgestaltet. Das dritte goldene Wappen (Typ 3) ist unten stärker gebogen. Karten gibt es hauptsächlich in Spanien. Für beliebte Orte (auch in UK) gibt es eine Neuauflage mit dem neuen Wappen (siehe Details der Wappen pro Stadt). Nur ganz wenige Karten haben bereits einen EAN-Code und das Logo für recycletes Papier. / After Barcelona (see above), the coat of arms has now also been redesigned for all other towns. The third golden shield (type 3) is more strongly curved at the bottom. Cards are mainly issued in Spain. For popular places (also in UK) there is a new edition with the new coat of arms (see details of the badges per city). Only a very few cards already have an EAN code and the recycle paper logo. "Escudo de Oro" Zwei spanische Karten von "CINDOR", hergestellt von FISA. Die Schrift ist die gleiche, die FISA auch später benutzte (s.u. #11). / Two Spanish cards from "CINDOR", produced by FISA. The writing is the same as FISA used later (see #11). Die Füße hat CINDOR auch für eine Karte in Schweden verwendet und in Norwegen zusammen "Normanns Kunstforlag" eine (für meine Sammlung nicht akzeptierte) "Skiparadies " herausgebracht. Normanns hat dann für zwei Städte in Norwegen die Füße weiter verwendet. / The picure of the feets was also used from CINDOR for a card in Sweden and in Norway together with "Normanns Kunstforlag" for a "ski paradise" card (non accepted for my collection). Normanns used the feets then also for two cities in Norway.

Die Karten von Madrid und Monaco haben auf der Rückseite bereits das kleine Wappen von Typ 5 (siehe #12) / The golden shield in type 4 has an 3D effect. Most of the cards have an EAN code on the back. The cards from Madrid and Monaco already uses on the back already the small shield from type 5 (see #12). "Escudo de Oro" Vom 4. goldenen Wappen gibt es eine Variante mit Mond, gibt es für einige Spanische Städte. Die weiße Schreibschrift ist die gleiche wie bei den Karten mit den Füßen (#7). Für die Kanaren wurde das Wappen leer gelassen. / From the 4th type, there is a variant with a moon for some Spanish cities. The white script font is the same as for the cards with the feet (#7). For the Canary Islands the badge is empty.

FISA Escudo de Oro Zwei einzelne Karten aus Spanien haben das goldene Wappen in letzter Variante (Typ 5), das nun immer leer ist. Das kleine Wappen auf der Rückseite hat die gleiche Form und keinen Text mehr in unterschiedlichen Sprachen. Dafür ist der Name des Herstellers nun "Editorial FISA Escudo de Oro S.A.". Typisch für moderne Karten ist das blasse Hintergrundbild als Verzierung des Textfelds der Rückseite. / Only for two Spanish cities there is the last type of the golden shield (type 5), which now is always empty. The lillte shield on the back has the same form and do not contain a text in different languages any longer. As replacement the Publisher's name is now "Editorial FISA Escudo de Oro S.A.". Typical for modern cards is the light background image as decoration of the text field of the backside. Die Schriftart der Karte aus Madrid ist wieder "ITC Souvenir", während die Karte aus Sevilla ein ganz andere Schriftart nutzt. / The font of the card from Madrid is again "ITC Souvenir", while the card from Seville uses a completely different font.
